Review - Trilogy Everything Balm

With the weather changing for the worse, the heating now needing to being on and the constant threat of getting a cold, Trilogy Everything Balm is my lifesaver! It is a solid balm that turns into an oil when you warm it in your hand and it can be used in so many ways! I mainly use it at night before I go to bed. I apply it to my legs, any dry patches of skin and on my lips and when I wake up in the morning I am all lovely and soft. I have been loaded with a cold the past few days so I have also been using this round my nose at night to stop any dry skin from all my nose blowing! You can also use it as a massage oil, on your cuticles, cracked heels, on sunburn and on any split ends to smooth them out, to name but a few! You only need a tiny bit of balm at a time so I think my tub may possibly last me forever!! Trilogy Everything Balm is a great all round product and is definitely a must have for winter!!

Review - Elegant Touch Pre Glued French Manicure Nails

I had never tried pre glued nails before as I was always a wee bit sceptical that they wouldn't stick on very well, but when I tried the Elegant Touch Make Me Blush nails I was pleasantly surprised! In the box you get 24 nails in 10 different sizes, a buffer and instructions. These were so easy to stick on, you simply press the fake nail on to the real nail and hold for couple seconds. Easy! Finding the right sized nail for each finger was a wee bit tricky though as it was very easy to stick the nails down accidentally, but any time I did they came off easily. The length of the nails was great as well, I was a little unsure at first as they were extra short, but they were perfect for everyday and didn't get in the way. The only other problem I had with the nails was that any time I ran my fingers through my hair, as the nails weren't completely flat against my real nails, they got caught in the glue on the nails. It just meant I had to stop fidgeting with my hair though which is never a bad thing! These nails last about 2 days, which I didn't think was too bad seen as they really got put to the test at work and I unfortunately had lots of dishes to do at home. These would be perfect for a night out, they are so fast and simple to put on and the colour is really natural! They were very easy to take off and left no damage to my nails. Next time I have a special occasion or night out coming up I will definitely be considering trying out some more pre glued nails!!

My Prairie Charms Haul

A couple of months ago I was contacted by a company called Prairie Charms and asked if I would like to take part in their Project Blogger. After having a look through the website I knew I had to place an order!

The first thing I love is the gorgeous packaging that my items came in! They dropped through the door in a very girly bright purple shiney envelope which I couldn't wait to rip open. Inside my items were all wrapped in matching tissue paper with a cute Prairie Charm sticker.

I ordered 3 items, the Leah Glitter Bow Band, Vivienne Knot Ties and the Kadie Bow.

I absolutely love the Vivienne Knot Ties!! Since getting these I have worn them nearly every day. I have to wear my hair up at work which normally means horrible kinks in my hair by the end of the day but thanks to these it is left kink free and breakage free!

The Leah Glitter Bow Band is great for adding bit of sparkle! I normally wear this with my hair in a pony so that it looks bit more exciting. I love the shades of purple that are used and think it would be great to jazz up a  night time hair do!

The Kadie Bow is a gorgeous flowery bow with a clip to hold it in place. I love wearing this either with a bun or a half up/half down style. It makes an everyday bun look a little bit more special! Once this is clipped in it is really secure and stays in place all day.

I am really pleased with the items that I got from Prairie Charms, the quality is great and I think it is more than likely that I will be placing another cheeky wee order!

Haul - Yankee Candle Tarts Wax Melts

My boyfriend and I recently went to Ashford Designer Outlet to have a wee look round the shop and do some shopping! One of the shops that they have there is a Yankee Candle outlet and it would have been rude not to have a look and make a few wee purchases! Here's what I got....

"Delicious memories of creamy, homemade strawberry ice cream on a hot summer day. One scoop or two?"

"Colorful and intriguing . . . there's a lure of adventure in the sweet aroma of this tropical fruit"

"Like delicate keepsakes from the sea. . . the lovely scent of tuberose, lily and hyacinth blossoms balanced with soft watery notes"

"Effervescent sweet Meyer Lemon with notes of energetic citrus lime and bergamot orange"

"The joys of camp . . . mesmerized by the fire, singing and laughing, while toasting marshmallows to rich, gooey perfection!"

"An intoxicating and masculine blend of musk, patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne"

These all smell amazing and I can't wait to burn them all!
I think I will be putting in a cheeky wee order from the website and get some more!

p.s. blogger seems to want to mess up the spacing in this post so I apologise for it being all over the place and having weird spacing!

Review - Smooch Inferno

When I first received Smooch's Inferno I was a little bit scared. I am not one for bright coloured lipsticks. I have always been a nude lips girl, through and through, so the thought of wearing an orange lipstick scared me slightly. But I thought I would give it a go, I have been wanting to become more adventurous and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do it!
I am so glad I did!
I loved the way Inferno looked on, it is slightly more subtle on the lips than I thought it would be which made it really wearable. It is perfect for a daytime look but you can also layer it up and would be a great for a night out. Inferno applies really well, it glides on and didn't dry my lips out at all. The colour also lasted really well which I was really pleased with. Another thing about this brand that I love is the packaging, how cute is it!?! Anything with lace on it is a winner in my eyes!

Inferno is available here for £7.50. They also have an offer on where if you buy one lipstick you get another one half price! What better reason do you need to get a new lippie!
