Project Bathroom and Project 10 Pan Take 2!

I have decided to put myself on a spending/shopping ban! I have so much stuff that I don't use and is just sitting in my room so I am going to start using it up! I have attempted Project Bathroom before and I didn't too bad with it but I was rubbish when it came to P10P. Hopefully this time I will do a bit better!

So I wont be buying any make up until I have finished up at least 10 products, which I think is going to be hard as I have NEVER finished a product before. I will give it my best shot though!

When it comes to toiletries I am going to be a little less strict. I will buy new products but only when I have used up all the other products I have in that category. So when I run out of toner and I don't have a back up I will buy a new one or if I finish my dry shampoo I'll get another one, that kind of thing.

I have no idea how long this ban is going to last but I am determined to finish it this time!!
I am going to do monthly posts to keep you all up to date with how I am getting on. I have a lot of things nearly finished so hopefully I will have a few empties to show you at the end of the month.

Wish me luck!!

NOTD - Models Own Coral Reef

Yesterday I was having a little rummage through my nail polish collection and found a whole load of nail polished that have been a little unloved recently!
So to rectify this I thought I would do some NOTDs for you all!
I haven't done many NOTD posts recently so it will be good trying out all the old polishes that I have forgotten about.

So today I am sporting Models Own Coral Reef!
It's a gorgeous, summery redy/coral colour.
It is quite opaque and it dried really quickly which I love!! Think I will definitely need to try out some more models own colours!
What ones would you suggest??

Review - Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream with SPF15

When I first tried Trilogy's Vital Moisturising Cream out I was a little unsure about it. I hate being able to feel creams on my skin and this moisturiser is quite thick. When I applied it, it took about 20-30 minutes for it to soak into my skin and for me to feel comfortable that I didn't have any cream on my face.
Not really what I want in a moisturiser!
I have combination skin and it made my t-zone quite oily. It would probably be best suited to someone with dry skin.

I thought I would give it another go though and I tried it again. This time after I applied it, I applied my make up on top of it straight away as I was heading out.
As a make up base I found that this moisturiser is amazing!
Applying my foundation on top of the moisturiser made it look great. It went on really smoothly and gave a really flawless finish!

Another thing I really like about the moisturiser is that it contains an SPF of 15 which is something my foundation doesn't have.

Before applying I do need to give it a good shake as the moisturiser can sometimes separate and it just water that comes out. As long as I remember to shake it though it is fine.

So overall I really like Trilogy's Vital Moisturising Cream. I wont be using it as a stand alone moisturiser but I will definitely be using it under my make up!

*This product was given to me as a PR sample but this has not influenced my thought on the product*

ELF 50% Off Haul (Pic Heavy)

Last Saturday, just as me and my boyfriend were heading out for the day to watch the British Super bikes, a post van pulled up outside the house with a big box of goodies that I had ordered off the E.L.F website!
As you will all probably know they held a 50% off sale recently and I tried to resist but it was just too tempting!

My order came to £22.95 including postage which means the contents was worth £40!!

So this is what I ordered........

2 Blending brushes from the basic range
An angled eyeliner brush
A stippling brush

Night to day brightening eye colour
Natural radiance blusher in Glow
Tone correcting concealer in Light Beige

Studio cream eyeliner in Black
Studio conditioning lip balm in Peaceful Pink
Studio under eye concealer and highlighter in Glow/Light
Studio matte lip colour in Natural

Nail polishes in Nude, Champagne and Fluorescent Pink

Studio mist and set
Eyelid primer collection

The only thing I am disappointed in is the nail polish in Champagne as it look NOTHING like the colour that they have in the website. On the website it looks like a light peach colour but in real life it is more of a muddy brown colour.

Here are some swatches of the things that I got!

Top - Conditioning lip balm in Peaceful Pink
Bottom - Matte lip colour in Natural

Tone correcting concealer in Light Beige

Natural radiance blusher in Glow

Natural radiance blusher in Glow blended out
Studio under eye concealer and highlighter in Glow/Light

Studio under eye concealer and highlighter in Glow/Light blended out

Night to day brightening eye colour

Eyelid primer collection - Nude, Pearl, Champagne

Studio cream eyeliner in Black
Nail polish - Nude, Champagne, Fluorescent Pink

So I am currently trying all these items out so that I can do some reviews for you all!
What would you like to see reviewed first??

NOTD - Eyeko Nude and Chi Chi Polish

Today's NOTD is courtesy of Eyeko!

This is 2 coats of their Nude Polish and then 2 coats of their Chi Chi polish. It did take quite a while to do but I think it looks great!

This is the first time I have tried Eyeko's polishes and they are not too bad! They apply really well but I felt it took about 5 minutes for each coat to fully dry.
This isn't going to put me off though as I really like them, I also have their Rain and Cosmic Polishes to try as well!

Review - Pantene Smooth and Sleek

About a month ago I was luck enough to win a twitter giveaway held by Pantene, the prizes were miniatures of their Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner.

The shampoo and conditioner arrived a couple of days later and it was perfect timing as my shampoo had just run out!

I have been using them both for about 3 weeks now and I thought I would do a little review for you guys!

When I first got the Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner I was a little weary about using them as I have a very sensitive scalp and a lot of products make it really itchy and I can't use them. I decided to use them anyway as I had no other shampoo and hoped Pantene would be one of the brands that wouldn't effect my scalp. Unfortunately they are not. Well to start out with they weren't anyway. Now that I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for about 3 weeks my head seems to have built up a tolerance or something to them and the itching has disappeared.
YAY!

Even with the itching I loved these products!
They smell amazing! They have a really nice fruity smell to them and even the boyfriend commented on how nice my hair smelled!
My hair had been in pretty bad condition, I had had it coloured for the first time and it had really dried out the ends. They were all frizzy, splitting and breaking off.
Not what you want really!
After using the Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner though I have really noticed a difference in my hair's condition. My ends are pretty much back to normal and I have also noticed that there are a lot less naughts in my hair when I brush it.

Overall I love I am loving the Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner. It's sorted out my frizzy ends, taken away the horrible naughts in my hair and made it smell amazing!
What more could you ask for!
